The Journalist Internship Training Course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of journalism and hands-on experience in reporting on events and activities at the Hillcrest Events Center. Over the course of 8 weeks, interns will be introduced to the fundamentals of journalism, research and documentation techniques, writing and reporting skills, interviewing techniques, networking strategies, event coverage, editing and publishing, and will culminate in a final project presentation.
Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of journalism, learning from industry professionals and gaining practical experience in a real-world setting. By the end of the course, interns will have developed a portfolio of articles and gained valuable skills that will prepare them for a career in journalism.
